alex, dale & kaeden 1

i've watched Alex grow up since she was a young girl on Hornby. And now here she is, a mom. She & Dale own Hornby Island Coffee Roasting Co. & Lix, where they serve up great coffee year round & ice cream & other goodies in the summer. Yum! And now they have Kaeden to make them 3. It's been amazing to watch his journey into the world & Alex & Dale grow into life as parents. They're amazing. So grounded & happy & full of joy. A friend bought them a photo package as a baby gift & we spent time together in front of their woodstove watching Kaeden play & explore, & then out into the garden all bundled up in the winter sunshine.
