william needed a recent photo to send to his mom for christmas. I love that. So i met them in jordan's painting studio, where william had created a funky little set in front of 2 of jordan's paintings, with william-james on guitar, & then the fun ensued. Here's a little glimmer of our happening...

frannie & dan - engagement photos

frannie & dan got together the summer before grade 12, engaged this winter & are flying off to be married in mexico this fall. It's been an amazing relationship to watch grow & develop & bloom. They have a LOT of fun together, these two (as you'll see) & have a very deep love & appreciation for one another. And lucky us, we get to add dan & his fabulous family to our own ever growing one. amy & sasha were married 2 years ago on gabriola island. And the one thing amy regrets about their wedding day was not hiring a professional photographer, so don't have those amazing photos of their beautiful day to look back on. So last week, we recreated a bit of the magic - amy & sasha got dressed back up in their wedding attire, grabbed some flowers from a road side stand & we went roaming around their amazing property capturing moments of their love for each other. It was definitely a very fun shoot! Bikes & apples & trees to climb. Stunning early evening sunlight, long grass, old fences, some silliness, good chocolate, & an open-hearted willingness to play.
