i love my job. For someone who adores weddings, believes whole-heartedly in the power of commitment, cries listening to the truth & depth of marriage vows, is tickled by the gathering of family & friends, & delights in celebrating true love, i have somehow stumbled into the most amazing work... the honour of documenting in photographs a couple's journey into marriage. Lucky me. And lucky me that i was blessed to witness & be a part of jacqueline & russell's journey, for it was all of those things & more. These 2 are amazing - deep in love & appreciation for one another, honest, true, caring, sweet, fun, beautiful inside & out, & incredible parents to their little man calder. If our children are any reflection of us, then calder is clearly reflecting all the love, support, freedom, delight & wonder jacqueline & russell have shared with him. They are a fabulous trio to behold. And i just love that, at 2 1/2 years old, calder was russell's best man. How perfect.
