i love my job!
today i had the absolute delight of photographing the dickson family. They have all gathered together for a week on hornby to celebrate judy & ross' 40th wedding anniversary. And what a gathering it is! So much fun & sparkle, babies & toddlers & kids, bubbles & bouncy balls, heaps of laughter & lots of love. Truly, this was my work today! Lucky me. nothing like flowers to forget the rain...

monica & ed

on saturday, i had the honour of witnessing monica & ed's walk into married life, and the joy of capturing those moments in photographs. This was a small, sweet family event, in rural duncan - 27 of their nearest & dearest - with monica's daughter paulina walking her down the aisle & ed's son ian standing as his best man. I love those heartfelt breaks from tradition. There were butterflies, a fairy princess, kid-made-wedding-cake, readings & tears, LOTS of laughter & so much joy. A wonderful start to a lovely union.
